1 Where can I buy everyday Gift Cards?

You can buy WISH Gift Cards and Store Gift Cards online at www.everydaygiftcards.com.au or in participating Woolworths / Safeway Supermarkets, BIG W, Dick Smith, BWS, Dan Murphy's, CALTEX WOOLWORTHS and CALTEX SAFEWAY co-branded outlets and Thomas Dux Grocer stores. These stores may change from time to time. For a full list of participating stores click here. Essentials Cards and Groceries Only Cards can only be purchased online at www.everydaygiftcards.com.au or through our bulk gift card team. Our range of other retailer Gift Cards are only available in participating Supermarkets, BIG W, and Dick Smith Stores.

2 How can I buy a Woolworths everyday Gift Card?

You will find WISH Gift Cards and Store Gift Cards displayed in Participating Stores, design and range of cards available may vary between stores. Take a WISH Gift Card to any register in-store and let the register operator know how much you would like to load the WISH Gift Card with (between $10 and $500). The register operator will then request payment. Once payment has been processed they will load the requested value onto the WISH Gift Card. You can purchase WISH Gift Cards, Store Gift Cards, Essentials Cards and Groceries Only Cards online at www.everydaygiftcards.com.au or through our Gift Card Team. 3 For what amounts can I purchase an Everyday Gift Card?

Our WISH Gift Cards and Store Gift Cards can be purchased in store for any value between $10 and $500 each. Our Essentials Cards and Groceries Only Cards purchased on line can be loaded with any value between $5 and $500 each.

4 Do Gift Cards expire?

WISH Gift Cards, Store Gift Cards, Essentials Cards and Groceries Only Cards expire 12 months from their date of issue. Returns Cards expire 6 months from date of issue. You can check your Gift Card’s expiry date at www.everydaygiftcards.com.au or by calling 1300 665 249. Expired cards can not be redeemed or reactivated.

5 What is the difference between a WISH Gift Card, Essentials Card and Groceries Only Card?

WISH Gift Cards are can be redeemed in any WISH Gift Card participating store. Essentials Cards can be redeemed in all participating Woolworths / safeway Supermarkets, BIG W and designated Caltex Woolworths co-branded fuel outlets only, and cannot be used towards the purchase of Alcohol, Tobacco or Gift Cards. Groceries Only Cards can be redeemed in all participating Woolworths / Safeway Supermarkets, and cannot be used towards the purchase of Alcohol, Tobacco or Gift Cards.

6 How can I pay for a Gift Card?

You can purchase a WISH Gift Card and Store Gift Card instore with cash, credit card or debit card. Cheque payment is not accepted in store, but is available through our Gift Card Team. Contact (03) 6245 6685 for more information on how to place an order with cheque payment. When ordered through our Gift Card team or online at www.everydaygiftcards.com.au payment methods are credit card (online only) cheque or EFT direct deposit.

7 How do I activate my card?

Gift Cards are activated at the time of purchase at the register in store. If your card is not activated there may have been a problem with your Gift Card being activated during the time of purchase. In order to help you with your enquiry we will need proof of purchase for your Gift Card. Please retain your purchase receipt as proof of purchase. If you do not have proof of purchase we will need the following information: the store that the card was purchased at, date of purchase, time of purchase and amount of the card so we can investigate the matter further.

8 Can I use my everyday rewards card when purchasing Gift Cards?

The purchase of WISH Gift Cards, Store Gift Cards, Essentials Cards and Groceries Only Cards are not a qualifying amount for any fuel savings offer or Qantas Frequent Flyer points issued through the Woolworths everyday rewards program.

9 Can I add more money onto a Gift Card?

Value can only be added to your Gift Card when it is initially activated.

10 Who issues the Gift Cards?

Woolworths Limited ABN 88 000 014 675 issue the WISH Gift Card. For more information on Woolworths Limited, please click here to visit their website.

11 Where Can I use my Gift Card?

WISH Gift Cards, Store Gift Cards, Essentials Cards and Groceries Only Cards are redeemable in participating stores. Click here to view a list of participating stores. These stores may change from time to time. Please note – Each of our Gift Cards (WISH Gift Cards, Store Gift Cards, Essentials Cards and Groceries Only Cards) differ in regards to which stores accept these cards. 12 How do I use a Gift Card?

When making a purchase in a participating store, present your Gift Card to the register operator. Your purchase amount will be deducted from the balance of your Gift Card. If your purchase exceeds the balance on your Gift Card you will need to pay the difference.

13 What is my Gift Card PIN?

Your PIN can be found on the back of your WISH Gift Card. It is a 4 digit number and is required when viewing your Gift Card details online or accessing them via 1300 665 249 and when making a purchase with your Gift Card.

14 Which are the Gift Card Participating stores?

15 How do I know how much money is left on my Gift Card?

You can check your Gift Card balance, expiry date and transaction history at www.everydaygiftcards.com.au by calling 1300 665 249 or at any Woolworths Supermarket or BIG W store, just ask a staff member to assist you.

16 Why can't I use my Gift Card at ALL CALTEX WOOLWORTHS and CALTEX SAFEWAY co-branded outlets?

We hope to change this situation in the future, but as mentioned in our Point of Sale material our Gift Cards can be used towards purchases at Participating Stores. Not all CALTEX WOOLWORTHS and CALTEX SAFEWAY co-branded outlets have the facilities to accept our Gift Card’s. To find out which stores are participating click here. 17 What do I do if when my Gift Card is swiped in the EFTPOS terminal a message stating 'Bad Read' appears?

It may be that the magnetic stripe on the rear of your card has become demagnetised. For a WISH Gift Card or Store Gift Card, visit the customer service desk within a Woolworths / Safeway Supermarket or BIG W store, and speak with a service supervisor, they can transfer your available balance and expiry date onto a new Gift Card. For an Essentials Card or Groceries Only Card, click here to contact us and arrange for a replacement card to be sent.

18 Can I buy something that costs more or less than the value on my Gift Card?

Yes. If the purchase is less than the value on your Gift Card, the purchase will be deducted from your Gift Card balance and the remaining balance can be used until the value reaches zero or the card expires. If the purchase is more than the value on your Gift Card you will need to pay for the difference between the balance on your card and the purchase amount using another form of tender.

19 Can I use more than one Gift Card in a purchase?

Yes, in the majority of participating stores more than one WISH Gift Card can be used to make a purchase, however in selected CALTEX WOOLWORTHS and CALTEX SAFEWAY co-branded outlets only one Gift Card can be used per purchase.

20 Can I check my Gift Card transaction history?

You can check your Gift Card transaction history online at www.everdaygiftcards.com.au, by calling 1300 665 249 or within our Supermarkets or BIG W stores, just ask as staff member to assist you.

21 Can I use my Everyday Rewards card with a Gift Card?

You can use your Gift Cards to pay for your purchase and, if you then present your Everyday rewards card you can receive the benefits of being an Everyday Rewards member. See everydayrewards.com.au for full details

22 What do I do if I want to talk to someone about my Gift Card?

Visit your nearest participating store and a staff member will be able to assist you with your query. Alternatively you can email us via the Contact Us section of the Gift Card website.

23 What do I do if my Gift Card is lost, stolen or damaged?

You should treat your Gift Card as if it were cash. You are responsible for the safe keeping of your Gift Card and we do not replace lost, stolen or damaged Gift Cards.

24 Can I exchange my Gift Card for cash?

No, Gift Cards cannot be exchanged for cash.

25 Can I withdraw money from my Gift Card?

No, you cannot withdraw money from your Gift Card.

26 Can I use my Gift Card for credit card payments or transaction account deposits?

No, you cannot use a Gift Card for credit card payments or transaction account deposits.

27 Can I redeem Gift Cards online?

WISH Gift Cards, Store Gift Cards and Returns Cards can be redeemed on The Woolworths HomeShop (Woolworths Online) website and BIGW online store (excluding BIG W Photo's, BIG W online entertainment and BIG W online movie rentals)

Our other online stores are currently unable to accept Gift Cards online for payment. We hope to change this in the future. Woolworth’s apologies for the inconvenience.

28 What do I do if I believe there is mistake with my Gift Card balance?

Visit your nearest participating store and a staff member will be able to assist you with your query. Alternatively you can email us via the Contact Us section of this WISH Gift Card website. We may change our policies and procedures in respect of errors and complaints. If we decide to do this we will publish the details on this WISH Gift Card website.

29 Where can I use my Returns Card?

Your Returns card can be used at all Woolworths /Safeway Supermarkets, BIG W stores and participating Dick Smith and Tandy outlets. For a full list of participating stores Click here
